Do you remember your favorite book from childhood?

Hmmmmmmm…📚🫣😴

Okay, so let’s be honest—I was never that “bookworm” kid growing up. 😅 The only books I ever read outside my school syllabus were those good old Tinkle Digests. (Yes, not Twinkle, it’s Tinkle! Still makes me smile thinking of Suppandi’s silly adventures and Shikari Shambu’s jungle tales! 🥹)

That was pretty much my “reading” phase. To this day, I haven’t really built the habit of reading actual books. But honestly, I want to. I love the idea of getting lost in another world, flipping pages late at night with a cup of coffee… but my brain just doesn’t cooperate sometimes 😭

So here’s me asking you guys—can you suggest some beginner-friendly books? Something that can slowly ease me into the world of reading and help build that habit without overwhelming me?

Alsooo… alsooo….if you have any tips on how to actually start reading consistently, I’m all ears (and eyes)! Let’s turn this non-reader into a book lover…one page at a time. 🫶📚

The Magician’s Nephew and The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe. Start with Narnia if you want to get ahead of the Greta Gerwig film that’s where to start.

Winnie The Pooh. Yes it is a children’s book but very cosy, and it fills you with warmth. Promise.

Well, I didn’t know that Winnie the Pooh book also exists… but I’ve watched it for a long time. It was my favourite cartoon of all time.✨😄

Mine too 🙂 Oh, and if you are an open-minded person I also suggest a book called The Tao of Pooh. It is a philosophical book where Winnie The Pooh is used to illustrate some interesting philisophical ideas. (sorry I am a nerd)

I loved reading as a kid
If you like cosy crime, then Agatha Christie

This might sound silly, but if you ever go to the gym, right afterwards is a great time to read. Especially after cardio, your body is so relaxed that it makes it easier to sit and chill for a while, flipping page after page and not worrying about time.
